Modern figurative and abstract art

A collection of paintings, drawings and prints executed throughout the 20th C with a special interest in Scandinavian landscapes and Italian abstract art.

The current selection includes unique works by established Italian artists such as Luigi Montanarini, Nino Franchina, Roberto Barni and Giuseppe Banchieri - all invited multiple times to the Venice Biennale - works by the Danish Preben Wölck, Allan Schmidt, Arne Lundsteen Hansen and Erik Jørgensen and by the British Bernard Myers, David Leverett, Alan Thornhill and John Maine. Works by Myers and Leverett are present in the Tate Modern collection, while works by Thornhill and Maine are permanently in public spaces in London, respectively in the Putney Sculpture Trail and at Green Park Underground Station.

Notable past sales include a 1958 unique work on paper by Italian famous sculptor Gio’ Pomodoro, and a 1909 oil on canvas by Swedish Impressionist Anders Trulson.

Not everything that we have in stock is online, there is always a number of pieces that we are working on, hence not published yet.
