Scandinavian ceramics
Decorative Scandinavian ceramics made throughout the 20th Century in prestigious Swedish and Danish workshops.
The current collection ranges from early 20th C pieces made at Saxbo and Kähler to the classic mid-century pots by Rörstrand, from the rare and minimal vases made at Palshus to the perfectly executed little masterpieces from Gustavsberg.
Artists represented in the collection include Berndt Friberg, Bertil Lundgren, Carl-Harry Stålhane, Gunnar Nylund, and Per and Annalise Linnemann-Schmidt.
Highlights of the current collection include three early 20th C vases by the Kähler workshop, a series of small vases and bowls by Berndt Friberg dating to the 1960s, and a 1930s jug by Saxbo.
Amongst the notable past sales, a series of earthenware pieces thrown by Nils Kähler and glazed by Svend Hammershøi dating to the first half of the 20th C.
Not everything that we have in stock is online, there is always a number of pieces that we are working on, hence not published yet.
