Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior architect and lighting designer, born in Havdhem on Gotland in 1919. He is primarily renowned for the elegant and modern lamps he designed in the 1950s and 1960s for his own company, Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, Markaryd.

Jakobsson began his career as an industrial designer at General Motors and later became an assistant to Carl Malmsten, one of the most prominent figures in Swedish design. In 1951, he founded his own company in Markaryd, where he began creating original decorative lighting known for their glare-free illumination, organic and elegant shapes, and the use of materials such as brass, glass, and silk.
